What Remains is a photographic and video project in progress that focuses on people in Los Angeles who die alone, the city workers who handle their belongings and remains, and the yearly mass burials of the unclaimed at a local cemetery. I am interested in the issues of isolation, anonymity, and memorial that these deaths and their subsequent burials raise.
